About appz.com
appz.com started from a simple frustration many AI builders know well: building an AI app is only half the work. Getting it discovered is the other half.
It was started by an independent developer who had built apps, shipped products, and learned firsthand how difficult it can be to get attention without fighting for placement in crowded app stores, paying for every click, or depending on platforms that were not designed with small creators in mind.
Google and Apple created massive distribution channels, but those channels are not always friendly to independent developers. Fees, rules, rankings, and limited visibility can make it feel like the platform wins before the maker does. At the same time, the open web has no obvious home where indie AI tools, agents, assistants, automations, and creator-built software can build useful visibility over time.
appz.com is being built as an answer to that gap.
What We Believe
Great AI apps should not disappear after launch day. Independent developers deserve claimable profiles, useful backlinks, tag visibility, search discovery, and a fairer way to be found by people who are actively looking for new tools.
What appz.com Is Building
appz.com is a long-term discovery platform for useful AI apps. Instead of focusing only on daily hype, we are building useful app profiles, tag pages, maker pages, App Alerts, comments, rankings, and admin curation tools that help apps continue being discovered after they launch.
Who It Is For
appz.com is for solo developers, indie hackers, AI tool builders, agent builders, creator-tool teams, and small software studios that need a better way to promote what they are building.
The Goal
The goal is simple: help useful AI apps get discovered without forcing makers to depend entirely on closed app stores, paid ads, or one-day launch events.
appz.com exists because AI builders deserve more ways to win.
