ApexApply

Finding the right graduate advisor is slow, manual, and mostly guesswork. Applicants read faculty pages one by one, struggle to tell whose research actually fits theirs, and send dozens of cold emails to professors who may not even be recruiting. Most of that effort is wasted. ApexApply fixes the matching problem at the root. Instead of a keyword search, it reads your research interests and CV and searches millions of active faculty across the world to find the professors who are the strongest fit for you. It ranks them by relevance, explains in plain terms why each one fits based on their recent work, and signals who is likely accepting students this cycle. Then, for every match, it drafts a personalized outreach email grounded in your background and their research, ready for you to edit and send. Built by graduate students who lived the advisor search themselves, ApexApply turns weeks of searching and cold emailing into a task you can finish in an afternoon. It is free to start, with no credit card required.
