Figure 03 is built as a general-purpose humanoid for everyday household tasks like folding clothes, loading dishwashers, and tidying spaces. Helix is Figure's end-to-end AI that processes camera feeds, tactile data, and speech to enable real-time decision-making and autonomous action without pre-scripted paths. It supports natural speech-to-speech conversation using onboard microphones and speakers connected to custom AI models. It provides up to five hours of continuous active operation on a single charge. It handles many tasks independently but may still need occasional human help for complex or error-prone situations. Figure 03 emphasizes home dexterity and integrated reasoning, while Optimus focuses more on manufacturing scale and cost reduction.
