About FlyMenu
FlyMenu is a digital menu platform for restaurants, bars and hotels. Each venue gets a QR code that opens its menu in the guest's own language — no app to install, nothing to download. Menus are translated through DeepL into the languages each venue chooses, with a per-venue glossary so that dish names, local specialities and wine terms are not flattened by generic machine translation. The restaurateur can review and correct any translation, and the corrections survive later edits to the dish. Every dish can declare the 14 allergens required by EU Regulation 1169/2011, shown in the guest's language, plus vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free markers that guests can filter by. Dishes, allergens and diets are published as schema.org structured data, so search engines and AI assistants can actually read what a venue serves and answer questions like "where can I eat gluten-free near here?". Each venue also gets an indexable mini-site at its own address, with an optional custom domain — not a PDF hidden behind a QR code. The same content exports as a print-ready PDF, so the paper menu and the digital one never drift apart. Venues can reorder dishes, add photos, and see how many people opened the menu and in which languages. FlyMenu deliberately stops at the menu: it is not a point of sale, it does not take table orders, process payments or manage reservations. Built in Venice, where about four menu views out of five come from a phone set to a language other than Italian. Free plan available, and every new venue starts with a 21-day Premium trial.
