Fugu Ultra

Fugu Ultra is the premium, performance-optimized edition of Sakana Fugu, a groundbreaking learned AI orchestrator developed by Sakana AI. Designed to coordinate multiple specialist frontier AI agents through a single OpenAI-compatible API, Fugu Ultra is built specifically for complex, multi-step tasks where answer accuracy and depth of reasoning are paramount. Rather than relying on a single monolithic foundation model, Fugu Ultra dynamically routes sub-tasks to a specialized pool of coding, reasoning, and research agents, automatically resolving conflicts and synthesizing responses behind the scenes. It represents the new frontier of AI scaling via intelligent agentic coordination.
