About Pylon

Pylon is a self-hosted daemon that runs AI coding agents on your events. Point it at a webhook (a GitHub PR, a Sentry alert, a deploy notification) or a cron schedule, and Pylon spins up a sandboxed Claude Code or OpenCode agent in Docker, runs it against your real codebase, and posts the result to Slack or Telegram. It ships as a single binary. Docker is the only runtime dependency. Each job runs in its own isolated container with no access to the host or to previous runs. Optional approval gates let you review before expensive agents kick off, useful for high-volume Sentry-style triggers. I built Pylon because I kept rewriting the same glue for every "when X happens, run an agent" workflow: a webhook endpoint, a queue, a sandbox, approval flows, chat notifications. Pylon is that stack, packaged, so your code and API keys never leave your infrastructure. Built-in templates for Sentry triage, GitHub PR review, and scheduled codebase audits. Config is YAML with hot reload. Jobs stored in SQLite. Works with Claude Code (OAuth or API key) or OpenCode's built-in free Zen mode.
