Make notes you'll actually reread

Turn this material into notes I'll actually use: {{paste lecture transcript, chapter, or article}}. Purpose: {{exam, work application, long-term understanding}}.

Produce:
1. THE SPINE — the 5-7 claims this material makes, in dependency order. Everything else hangs off these.
2. NOTES — under each claim: the explanation in compressed prose (not bullets of keywords), the worked example, and the condition where it doesn't apply.
3. DEFINITIONS — terms with their precise meaning and the near-miss they're confused with.
4. RETRIEVAL CARDS — 12 question/answer pairs testing understanding, not recall of phrasing. Questions that require applying the idea.
5. CONNECTIONS — how this links to {{what I already know}}.
6. GAPS — what the material assumes but doesn't explain, that I should look up.

No highlighting-style dumps, no restating headings, nothing I couldn't reconstruct the argument from in three months.
