Analyse a SERP before writing the page

Viktor Submitted by Viktor Added 28 days ago
Target query: "{{keyword}}". Analyse the current top 10 results.

For each result: URL, page type, word count estimate, what specific question it answers in the first 100 words, the structure of its headings, the unique asset it has (data, tool, images, video, original research), and the obvious thing it fails to cover.

Then:
1. What does Google appear to reward for this query? Infer from what the winners share, not from best practice.
2. What is the content gap that all 10 leave open?
3. Specify the page that would outrank them: format, required sections, the original asset I must create, and target depth.
4. State honestly whether this SERP is winnable for a site with {{domain context}} or whether it needs links first.
5. List the entities and subtopics that appear across multiple winners and must be covered.

Cite each URL. Mark inferences as INFERENCE.

How to use it

Needs live browsing. Step 4's honest answer saves more time than the rest of the output combined.
