Content brief a writer can execute without you

Viktor Submitted by Viktor Added 9 days ago
Write a content brief for "{{primary keyword}}" targeting {{audience}}, for a {{word count}}-word piece.

Include, in this order:
1. The one question the page must answer, and the answer in two sentences (this goes in the intro).
2. Search intent and what the reader is trying to decide.
3. Full H2/H3 outline with a one-line purpose and word target for each section.
4. Required entities, subtopics, and terms to cover (from the SERP, not from your imagination).
5. Questions to answer verbatim for featured snippets and People Also Ask, with the 40-60 word answer format.
6. Internal links: which existing pages should link here and which this should link to, with anchor suggestions. My site structure: {{paste}}.
7. What original input is required from a human — data, screenshot, quote, opinion — because the page can't rank without it.
8. Meta title ≤60 chars and meta description ≤155 chars.
9. Explicit do-not-do list for this piece.

How to use it

Section 7 is the difference between a brief and a template. Never publish a brief without it filled in.
