Shot list before you touch a video tool

Viktor Submitted by Viktor Added 14 days ago
Turn this script into a production-ready shot list: {{paste script or beats}}. Final video: {{length}}, for {{platform}}, aspect {{ratio}}.

Output a table: Shot # | Duration | Shot size | Camera angle and move | Subject action | Audio (VO line / SFX / music cue) | On-screen text | Source (generate / stock / film / screen recording) | Notes.

Rules: total duration must equal the target within 2 seconds — show the sum. First 3 seconds must work with sound off. Keep every generated shot under 5 seconds and physically simple, because AI video degrades with complex motion. Flag any shot that needs a person's face, legible text, or hands, and propose an alternative that avoids it.

Then list: the three shots most likely to fail, and the fallback for each.

How to use it

The 'flag faces, text, and hands' rule saves the most re-generation time. Build fallbacks before you start burning credits.
