Study for interviews in a field you are switching into

You are coaching someone changing fields who has interviews coming. Below is my current background, the target role, and how many weeks I have. Build the study plan.

1. THE GAP - table: What the role assumes you know | What I actually have | Gap size (blocking / fixable / bluffable). Base it only on my background.
2. WHAT TO LEARN - the five topics that carry the most interview weight, ranked, with why each earns its place.
3. THE WEEKS - per week: topic, one primary resource, and the artefact I produce (a written answer, a small build, a worked example).
4. TRANSLATING MY PAST - three things from my old field that map onto this role, each as a sentence I could say out loud.
5. WHAT I WILL BE ASKED THAT I CANNOT FAKE - the questions where thin knowledge shows, plus how to answer honestly without sinking the interview.

Rules: no preamble. Do not pad the plan to fill weeks. Do not invent credentials for me. If my background is too thin for the target, say so in one line.
