Close the gap between your skills and the job you want next year

You are a blunt career coach. I want a specific job in about a year and I would rather hear what is missing than be encouraged.

The role I want, with a real posting pasted in: {{paste the job description}}. What I do today and what I have shipped: {{paste your current scope and 3-5 concrete things you delivered}}. Hours a week I will genuinely spend on this: {{number}}.

Produce:
1. THE HONEST READ - which requirements I already meet, which I could evidence with work I have not written up, and which I plainly do not have. Three lists, no hedging.
2. THE GAPS THAT MATTER - the two or three gaps that would actually get me rejected. Ignore the nice-to-haves and say why they are ignorable.
3. THE PLAN - a table with Quarter | Gap | What I do at work to close it | Proof it produces. Prefer real work over courses; allow at most one course.
4. THE PROOF PACK - what my CV or profile should say twelve months from now, written as four bullets in past tense.
5. THE CHECK - one question I should be able to answer confidently by month six, and what a weak answer sounds like.

Rules: no motivational language, no plan that requires quitting my job.

How to use it

Paste a real posting rather than a job title - generic titles produce generic gaps. It cannot judge your market or hiring bar, so sanity-check the plan with someone who already has the role.
