Cut a long recording into shorts that stand alone

Viktor Submitted by Viktor Added 12 days ago
Here's a transcript with timestamps from a {{length}} recording. Find the clips worth cutting.

For each candidate: start and end timestamp, duration, the claim it makes, why it works standalone (does it make sense without the surrounding context?), the strongest 3-second opening line inside it, a suggested on-screen hook under 8 words, and a one-line reason someone would send it to a friend.

Rules: 20-60 seconds each. Only propose clips that contain a complete thought — no clips that end on a cliffhanger the video doesn't resolve. Reject moments that are only interesting if you heard the previous 10 minutes, and say so. Do not invent or paraphrase quotes; give the exact words.

Rank by standalone strength, then list the three moments people will most likely misquote out of context.

TRANSCRIPT:
{{paste with timestamps}}

How to use it

The misquote list is worth reading before you post — it's the same clip that goes viral for the wrong reason.
