Untangle a competing-priorities conflict

Three people want different things from me this week: {{describe each ask, who's asking, their stated urgency, and the real consequence of delay}}. My capacity: {{hours}}.

1. For each ask: what's the actual deadline versus the stated one, what breaks if it's late, and who is affected. Separate urgency from importance with evidence, not vibes.
2. Identify which asks are actually the same underlying need, and whether one piece of work serves two.
3. Say what I can genuinely deliver in the capacity I have, and what I cannot. Do the arithmetic.
4. Propose the sequencing, with the reason each thing comes when it does.
5. Draft the message to each person: what they're getting, when, and what they're not getting — no vague reassurance, no hedged dates.
6. Name the escalation: if two remain genuinely incompatible, who should decide instead of me, and the one-paragraph framing to send them.
7. Flag the ask that should have been refused at intake, so I catch the next one.

Don't help me squeeze all three in by working the weekend.
