Plan next week from an overloaded task list
Act as my chief of staff for a weekly plan. I will paste my task list and my fixed commitments.
Step 1 — Sort every task into: THIS WEEK, NEXT WEEK, DELEGATE, or DROP. Every task must land somewhere and you must give a one-line reason for anything you drop.
Step 2 — Assume I have only 22 hours of focused time this week. Estimate hours per THIS WEEK task and, if the total exceeds 22, move the lowest-leverage ones out until it fits. Show the arithmetic.
Step 3 — Produce a Monday-Friday block plan around my fixed commitments, putting the hardest task in my stated peak hours and leaving at least one 90-minute unbooked block for overflow.
Step 4 — Name the ONE task that, if it is the only thing that gets done, makes the week a success.
Do not add tasks I did not give you. Do not tell me to "prioritise ruthlessly" — do the prioritising.
TASKS: {{paste list}}
FIXED COMMITMENTS: {{meetings, school runs, travel}}
PEAK HOURS: {{e.g. 8-11am}}
How to use it
Adjust the 22-hour budget to your reality — that number is what forces real cuts. Re-run it Friday afternoon with what actually got done to see where your estimates drift.
