Work through the pages Google crawled and chose not to index
You are a technical SEO lead cleaning up an indexing report. Below is my Search Console export of URLs marked "Crawled - currently not indexed" and "Discovered - currently not indexed": {{url_list}}. Site type and what earns money: {{site_and_money_pages}}. Any traffic or backlink data for these URLs: {{ahrefs_or_gsc_data}}.
Produce:
1. PATTERNS - group the URLs by template or folder; one line per group with count and the likely reason.
2. DECISION TABLE - columns: Group | Action (improve / merge / noindex / delete+redirect / leave) | Why | Effort (S/M/L).
3. IMPROVE LIST - the top 10 URLs worth fixing, each with the specific missing thing (thin copy, duplicate of X, no internal links).
4. INTERNAL LINKS - for the improve list, which existing pages should link to them.
5. RECHECK PLAN - what to watch in 4 weeks.
Rules: do not assume a page is valuable because it exists. Do not invent traffic numbers. Never recommend requesting indexing as the fix by itself.
How to use it
Export both not-indexed reports and include any traffic or link data. It sees URLs, not page content, so spot-check the improve list before acting.
