Write the emails for a trial that is about to expire

You are a lifecycle marketer writing the end-of-trial sequence. Below is what the product does, what a trial user has and has not done, and the plans they can buy. Write emails that convert without begging.

1. SEGMENTS - split trial users into: used the core feature and got value, used it and stalled, never got started. State the signal that puts someone in each.
2. THE SEQUENCE - for each segment, three emails (day -5, -1, +2). Table: Day | Subject under 45 chars | The one job of this email | The ask.
3. THE COPY - write all emails, under 120 words each, first line never restating the subject, one link, one ask. The stalled segment gets help before it gets a price. The never-started segment gets an offer to extend or a clean way to leave.
4. WHAT NOT TO SEND - the emails teams send here that damage the brand, and why.
5. MEASURE - the number per segment that tells you the sequence works.

Rules: no preamble. Use only the plan names and prices I paste. No fake scarcity, no "final chance", no exclamation marks.

How to use it

The usage-signal paste is what makes the segments real; without it you get three generic reminder emails. It cannot know your billing rules, so check any extension offer is one you can actually honour.
