LinkedIn message that gets a real reply

Viktor Submitted by Viktor Added 4 days ago
Write a LinkedIn outreach message to {{person, title, company}}. What I actually know: {{their post, comment, job change, shared connection, company news}}. Why I'm reaching out: {{honest reason}}.

Rules:
1. Under 50 words. It has to be readable in a notification preview.
2. Open with the specific thing — their post, their move, their comment — and say something that proves I engaged with the content, not the headline.
3. State my reason plainly in one sentence. No pretending to network when I'm selling.
4. Ask something they can answer in five words.
5. No pitch, no link, no calendar, no PDF, no "I'd love to pick your brain", no compliment sandwich.

Give two versions: one that asks a question about their world, one that offers something concrete and small. Then say which you'd send and why, and what my follow-up should be if they reply with one word.

How to use it

Send the version whose opening line couldn't be pasted to anyone else. That's the whole test.
