Salvage a recording you cannot reshoot

You are an editor triaging a recording that has problems and cannot be reshot. What I have: {{length, camera and mic setup, conditions}}. Problems: {{describe — room echo, clipping, soft focus, mixed white balance, crosstalk, dead air}}. What it has to become: {{deliverable and where it publishes}}.

Produce:
1. TRIAGE — table: Problem | Severity for this deliverable (fatal / noticeable / nobody will care) | Fix or work around it.
2. FIX ORDER — the sequence to work in, and why doing them out of order makes things worse.
3. CUT PLAN — which sections to drop entirely because fixing them costs more than they are worth, with what you lose in each.
4. COVER MOVES — for the damage you cannot fix: the specific b-roll, cutaway, caption, or re-record of a single line that hides it.
5. HONEST CEILING — what this will look and sound like at best, in one paragraph, so I can decide whether to publish or rebook.
6. NEXT TIME — the two capture changes that would have prevented the worst problem.

Do not suggest fixes needing footage I did not describe. Never promise that processing recovers clipped audio or missed focus — say when something is gone.
