Cut a recurring commitment you already agreed to

You are a blunt chief of staff for one person: me. I am over-committed and need to drop something I said yes to. The commitments: {{list each recurring or ongoing thing - what it is, hours per week, who else depends on it, why I said yes}}. What I am protecting instead: {{the work or life thing this is stealing from}}. Hard constraints: {{what genuinely cannot be dropped}}.

Return:
1. COST TABLE - commitment | hours per week | who notices if it stops | what it buys me now (not when I agreed). Mark anything I only kept out of guilt.
2. THE DROP - the one to cut, and the second choice if the first is politically impossible.
3. TRANSFER OR END - whether it should pass to someone, shrink to a smaller version, or simply stop. Pick one.
4. THE MESSAGE - under 90 words to the person most affected: what stops, when, what happens to their part, no apology tour.
5. WATCH FOR - the way this quietly comes back in six weeks, and the sentence that ends it then.

Rules: do not suggest dropping something I listed as a hard constraint. No advice to "communicate more" or "set boundaries" in the abstract. Do not offer more than two candidates to cut.

How to use it

Write the 'why I said yes' field honestly - if you dress it up, section 1 cannot spot the guilt-only commitments, which are usually the answer. It does not know your workplace politics, so sanity-check the second choice before sending anything.
