Pick the music and pacing for a video with no dialogue

Max Submitted by Max Added today
Video: {{what it shows}}, {{length}}, for {{platform}}. No voiceover. Feeling I want at the end: {{one word}}.

Give me the pacing plan first, as a timeline: at {{0:00}}, {{0:03}}, and so on, what's on screen and how long the cut holds. Front-load the strongest visual — the first cut should land inside two seconds.

For the music: describe what I should search for in terms of tempo range, instrumentation, whether it builds or stays flat, and where the one moment of change should fall relative to my timeline. Don't name commercial tracks; give me search terms for a library.

Then map the edit to the music: which cuts land on the beat, which one deliberately doesn't, and where to drop the music out entirely for a beat of silence.

Finally: what the video needs to communicate with the sound off, since most viewers will never hear it.

How to use it

Cut the video to a scratch track at the right tempo before you license anything. Swapping tempo later means re-cutting everything.
