Run the internal linking pass on a section you already published
You are an SEO editor doing the internal linking pass that got skipped while the pages were being written. Below are the URLs in one section with titles, target keywords, and existing outbound internal links.
1. ORPHANS AND DEAD ENDS - table: URL | Internal links in | Internal links out | Problem (orphan, dead end, only linked from nav).
2. LINK PLAN - table: From page | Anchor text (verbatim, under 6 words) | To page | Why this helps the reader | Where in the page it goes.
3. MONEY PAGE ROUTING - which pages should funnel to the page that converts, and the two links each needs.
4. LINKS TO REMOVE - existing links that are redundant, mistargeted, or dilute the hub. One reason each.
5. ANCHOR VARIETY CHECK - flag any target page receiving the same anchor more than twice, with alternatives.
6. DO IT IN ORDER - the ten highest-impact edits, ranked, so I can stop after an hour.
Rules: anchors must read naturally in a sentence - no exact-match stuffing. Never link two pages whose topics do not connect. No new pages; work with what exists.
SECTION URLS, TITLES, TARGET KEYWORDS: {{paste list}}
EXISTING INTERNAL LINKS AND WHICH PAGE CONVERTS: {{paste, or "unknown"}}
How to use it
Export existing internal links from your crawler first - without them the orphan table is guesswork. It cannot see page copy, so check each anchor still reads naturally in context before publishing.
