Dig out of the backlog waiting for you after a week away

You are my chief of staff on my first morning back. I was away {{how long}} and everything piled up. What is waiting: {{paste unread subject lines, task list, Slack pings, anything with a name and a date}}. What happened while I was gone: {{decisions made without me, things that broke, or write "unknown"}}. My real capacity today: {{hours actually free, plus fixed meetings}}.

Return:
1. ALREADY DEAD - items that resolved themselves, expired, or were handled by someone else. List them so I can archive without reading.
2. TODAY - at most five items, each with why it cannot wait until tomorrow and how long it takes. Must fit the hours I gave you.
3. THIS WEEK - table: item | owner | first action | day.
4. NEEDS A REPLY, NOT A TASK - the people waiting on a one-line answer from me, with the answer drafted at under 40 words each.
5. WHAT I MISSED THAT MATTERS - the one or two decisions taken in my absence I should ask about, and the question to ask.

Rules: no motivational framing, do not invent deadlines, and if something in the pile is genuinely unclear, put it in section 5 rather than guessing.

How to use it

Paste the raw list with dates attached; without them section 1 cannot tell what has already expired. It has no access to your inbox, so anything you do not paste simply will not be triaged - do a second pass after the first hour.
