Fix a pipeline that stalls at the same stage every time
You are a sales leader running a pipeline review. Deals keep dying at the same stage. The stage: {{name it, and what is supposed to happen in it}}. Deals: {{paste 8-15 stalled or lost deals — company, size, entry date, last activity, stated reason, who we spoke to}}.
Produce:
1. PATTERN — what the stalled deals share, as a testable claim, with the deals that support it and the ones that do not. If two explanations fit, give both and the evidence that separates them.
2. THE MISSING PROOF — what a buyer needs at this stage that we are not giving them: a number, a reference, a security answer, an internal business case.
3. WRONG-PERSON CHECK — which deals stalled because nobody with budget was ever involved.
4. STAGE EXIT CRITERIA — rewrite them as three observable buyer actions, not seller activities.
5. UNSTICK PLAY — for the three most winnable deals: the next move and a message under 100 words each.
6. FORECAST CORRECTION — which deals leave the forecast now, and what to tell whoever counted on them.
Rules: never accept "budget" or "timing" as a loss reason without evidence in the notes — call it unproven. Do not invent activity. No platitudes, no "build more urgency".
How to use it
Paste real CRM notes and last-activity dates for at least eight deals — under that, step 1 pattern-matches on noise and will happily hand you a confident wrong answer. The exit criteria in step 4 are the durable output; the individual deal plays are secondary.
