Sell to a buyer who tried a tool like yours and hated it

You are a sales coach. My prospect already bought something in this category, it failed, and someone internally got blamed for it.

What they used and what happened, in their words: {{paste call notes, email or review}}. What we do differently, concretely: {{paste}}. Who championed the last purchase and where they are now: {{paste if known}}.

Produce:
1. THE POST-MORTEM THEY NEVER RAN - the three plausible reasons the last tool failed, split into product fit, rollout, and internal ownership. Say which one their own words point to.
2. THE SCAR - what they will now demand proof of before signing, phrased as they would say it.
3. SIX QUESTIONS - discovery questions that surface the real failure without making them defend their last decision.
4. THE DIFFERENCE THAT MATTERS - map what we do differently onto their specific failure. Cut anything that does not address it.
5. THE EMAIL - under 120 words, no pity, no competitor bashing, one ask.

Rules: never claim the last vendor was bad, do not invent their internal politics, no "circling back".

How to use it

Use their own wording wherever you have it - paraphrased notes make section 2 generic. If the failure was mostly rollout, expect the honest answer to be that you may fail the same way.
